FlowFraction® 400 and 500
Sample Collection System for SegFlow
The collection system FlowFraction® fills fermentation samples which are delivered from a SegFlow, into samples vials of any type. The control is coming from the SegFlow and different types of modular cooled stands (Racks) are available for different vials between 0,5 ml and 50 ml. The cooling can be chosen between a water cycle and a Peltier element.

FlowFraction® 400 and 500 – Fraction collector, sample filling station
The FlowFraction sampling station collects sample liquid comming from the SegFlow for offline analysis or retain samples in any amount between 500 µl and 50 ml. The commercial sample vials can be open or equipted with a septum lid. The model FlowFraction can be tempered between 0°C and 40°C. The rack can be optionally equipped with a Peltier or water cooling device. The FlowFraction 400 takes up to 2 Racks, the model FlowFraction 500 is made for up to 4 Racks.
The following Racks can be chosen optional:
- Rack for 60 HPLC- sample vials up to 2 ml or glass tubes up to 8 ml
- Rack for 30 centrifuge tubes up to 15 ml
- Rack for 14 centrifuge tubes up to 50 ml
- Rack for 96-Well Plates, 320 μl Vol./well

FISP® Separation Probes
The FISP® probes allow the drawing of cell free samples out of bioreactors and vessels. They are offered for head plate connections 19 and 14 mm as well as Ingold side ports 19 and 25 mm. They can be autoclaved or pre-installed in-situ sterilized. The reusable, microporous ceramic membranes reliably filter suspension cells up to carriers.
