Gator® Pilot BLI system

Gator® systems utilise innovative label-free analysis technology incorporated in a new generation of biolayer interferometry (BLI). The state-of-the-art BLI technology detects biomolecular interactions with high sensitivity, accuracy and speed. The Gator® Pilot BLI instrument is the new entry-level BLI system from Gator Bio, allowing easy integration of the powerful label-free BLI technology in an academic environment or biotechnology industry laboratories with low-throughput requirements. With 4 channels and a maximum capacity of 40 samples per run, the instrument is specifically tailored for applications with limited throughput demands. The 96-well plate configuration facilitates 6x6 epitope binning experiments using either the classical sandwich or tandem assay.

The Gator Pilot is a  benchtop instrument that demonstrates robustness in handling various samples, from purified samples to crude extracts or serum. The incorporated software facilitates easy assay setup, seamless data acquisition, and streamlined analysis. Additionally, Gator Bio provides an advanced line of biosensors featuring enhanced surface chemistry to improve sensitivity, binding capacity, robustness, and regenerative capability.

Gator Bio BLI systems provide a platform for analysing proteins, antibodies, peptides, nucleic acids, liposomes, viruses and small molecules.

Applications are (but not limited to):

  • quantitation and kinetics
  • epitope binning
  • bioprocess analytics and manufacturing control
  • ELISA replacement
  • viruses and vaccine development
  • antibody discovery
