Quick Swab

With the 3M™ Quick Swab, samples can be taken conveniently and quickly. There is no need to prepare neutralization dilutions, nor is it necessary to add the sample to the plate with a pipette. The swabs can be used dry or wet for surface sampling and can quickly add a 1.0 ml sample to a 3M™ Petrifilm™ plate. Since less work is required for sample preparation, sampling and preparation of the sample, the cost per test is lower.

The 3M™ Quick Swab is certified according to the quality assurance standard ISO 9001:2008. Portability, stable enrichment media and easy to use swabs and sponges are designed for testing a wide range of potential hazards and provide exceptionally accurate results. They are designed so that samples can be safely transported from the collection point to the laboratory without leakage or sample degradation. Letheen bouillon is primarily used to neutralize the bactericidal effect of quaternary ammonium compounds and to determine the phenol coefficient of cationic surfactants in accordance with the recommendation from the official AOAC analysis methods.
