SCI-tive Physoxia Workstation
Physoxic and Hypoxic Atmosphere Workchamber and Hood
The SCI-tive was designed as a "Lab in a box" to create in vitro conditions for a continuously stable, physoxic or hypoxic cell culture environment. This simulates the physiological conditions in the tissue in terms of oxygen content, temperature and pH very well. Cellular stress caused by fluctuations is prevented.

SCI-tive – Physoxia Workstation
In the SCI-tive, physical or hypoxic cell culture work, incubation and micoroscopic or other examinations can be performed. With an internal volume of 420 L, it offers plenty of space for a wide variety of instruments: centrifuges, microscopes, cell imaging systems or other analytical instruments such as the SSeahorse AnalyzerXFe96 AgilentTM. The equipment of the SCI-tive with a HEPA filtration system also allows cell culture work in a low-particle atmosphere. The air humidity is adjusted very quickly via the ultrasonic mist humidification system. The bench is ideal for work with embryonic and adult stem cells, genetically modified cell lines, primary cells, embryos, cancer cells, etc..
The Ezee-Sleeves™ arm cuffs offer a comfortable way of working for all users at the bench. Materials can be quickly transfered in and out within 1 minute via the temperature-controlled interlock. Various light protection options are available for light-sensitive applications. For users with higher space requirements or for applications requiring the parallel operation of two different hypoxic atmospheres, the SCI-tive Dual in the symmetrical or asymmetrical version is the ideal model.
