GatorPrime
The GatorPrime from Gator Bio is a label-free analysis instrument based on the biolayer interferometry (BLI) technology. It´s main applications are biomolecular quantitation, determination of intermolecular binding kinetics and epitope binning. This 8-channel system can quantify 8 samples in 60 second and 96 samples in less than 30 minutes. The real-time detection of binding kinetics allows for the determination of kon, koff and KD of up to 72 samples in one experiment. An extra thermal insulation of the optical bench leads to improved baseline stability, which increases the sensitivity while measuring long off-rates of tight binding interactions. The 96-well plate format enables 10x10 epitope binning experiments in the classical sandwich or tandem assay. The GatorPrime is a fluidic-free benchtop instrument that is robust enough to handle everything from purified samples to crude extracts or serum. The integrated software allows for intuitive assay setup, data acquisition and analysis. Gator Bio also offers a new generation of biosensors with improved surface chemistry for enhanced sensitivity, binding capacity, robustness and regenerative capability.
A wide choice of pre-coated biosensors allows for the quantitation and kinetic analysis of proteins, antibodies, peptides, nucleic acids, aptamers, liposomes, AAV and small molecules. The GatorPrime is our entry level BLI instrument that provides a powerful and versatile tool to scientists from drug discovery to therapeutics manufacturing QC and in academia.
