Gator Pivot – Biolayer Interferometry (BLI) system
Gator® systems utilise a new generation of label-free analysis technology integrated into an innovative biolayer interferometry (BLI) instrument platform. The advanced BLI technology detects biomolecular interactions with high sensitivity, accuracy and speed. The Gator® Pivot BLI instrument is the new BLI system from Gator Bio, designed for thermally unstable proteins and experiments requiring extended assay times. The instrument has 16 spectrophotometers and a flexible 2-plate design (96- and 384-wells), allowing quantitation of 16 samples simultaneously with a maximum of 816 samples per run.
The Gator Pivot has an incorporated evaporation control enabling sample temperature regulation between 15-40⁰ Celcius and extended assay times. The instrument is ready for automated plate handling and features automated cleaning protocols. The incorporated software facilitates easy assay setup, seamless data acquisition, and streamlined analysis. Additionally, Gator Bio delivers a cutting-edge portfolio of biosensors featuring improved surface chemistry to boost sensitivity, binding capacity, robustness, and regenerative capabilities.
Gator Bio BLI systems provide a platform for analysing proteins, antibodies, peptides, nucleic acids, liposomes, viruses and small molecules.
Applications are (but not limited to):
- quantitation and kinetics
- epitope binning
- bioprocess analytics and manufacturing control
- ELISA replacement
- viruses and vaccine development
- antibody discovery
